Il progetto di quella che viene oggi definita la miglior tribute band dei dIRE sTRAITS nasce nel dicembre del 2008. E da allora ha suonato in tutta Europa in club, teatri, festival e location open air. Riprodurre le sonorità dei dIRE sTRAITS non viene preso alla leggera e la band lo fa con grande professionalità e rispetto con un unico e ambizioso obiettivo: suonare la musica di Mark Knopfler meglio di chiunque altro, in modo da essere secondi solo agli originali. Gli iTALIAN dIRE sTRAITS sono stati in cartellone anche all'Hammersmith Odeon di Londra, dove i Dire Straits hanno registrato Alchemy, e hanno suonato davanti a 10 mila persone a Horta, alle Azzorre. Gli iTALIAN dIRE sTRAITS sono in tour nei più importanti locali, teatri e location open air d’Italia e d’Europa.
